Fleur Winter Percussion is a Nonprofit Organization based out of Highland, Illinois focus on youth development through the marching arts.
Winter Percussion is similar to marching band but just the Percussion ensemble. In this way there is more creative freedom to design a show that the membership and staff can be creative with.
Traveling can be for shows throughout the Midwest
Winter Percussion seasons typically start in early November through early April. Our rehearsals will be typically on Sundays with options of Saturdays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays
FWP Supports our students and their endeavors to be well rounded individuals. Conflicts will not affect a student's participation within the ensemble. All we ask is that communication is done ahead of time.

This group was founded by passionate and driven colleagues that have a mission of giving back to what was given to them. Our staff are made up of a diverse educator from all backgrounds to meet your student's needs and help develop them into their best selves.
Our dues will be starting at $800 along with costs of meals during extended rehearsals, uniform add Ons and your travel to rehearsal. Dues cover expenses such as housing, equipment, staff, travel, and other expenses like these are typically covered by a sponsoring school
This cost is NOT expected to be paid upfront if a contract is offered. For a contract to be officially accepted we will require a $100 down payment. Remaining dues will be on a payment plan through the season.
No! However, high schoolers will get first priority in the group. Our group is centered around high school aged studnets, specifically, highland School district students. nurturing their needs will take top priority in our early years. Being within the WGI age stipulation is required.
Come attend one of our clinics on 9/29 or 10/20. You will meet the staff and be taught out style to see what could fit best for you. We hope to see you!
We are not directly affiliated with any school or district nor are we sponsored by one. However, we have a relationship with Highland School District as they are providing equipment and rehearsal space for us!
Without the pressure of competition, let have fun performing well together. This includes students, staff, parents alike. Our staff prioritizes optimization and adapting for everyone's needs to be met.

It is our mission to make sure all students that enter our environment grow to love the process of becoming their best selves. Life skills we teach in our rehearsal environment but not limited to: Stress management, Responsibility, professionalism, learning how to learn, adaptability, Perserverance, long term investment, etc.
Provide a foundation for young performers to create a foundation for the activity and expand where they desire. Whether your student strives to be a leader at their high school marching band, pursue band at their dream school or look at even follow their dreams outside of music. Our staff has the knowledge and tools to help them go wherever their heart desires.
